Nutritional Therapist:
On Tuesday, November 7th a representative who is highly skilled in nutritional therapy came to speak to us about the food types we eat on a daily basis. She began the speech by mentioning that our "feel good" hormone is 90% stored in our gut. This means that the healthier the food we eat the more serotonin is released into our bodies. She showed us many different foods how they could affect our future health, as well as different foods and diets that come from Asian and Japanese cultures. The facts and information about food that she showed us was very interesting, and will hopefully benefit me in my future life.
